About Migarda Calibration
Our founder is a long-term resident of the Pilbara with five years experience as a mechanical fitter within the resource industry. Prior to this, he served 11 years in the Australian Army, leaving with an ethos that served him well in his new career.

Our Vision
To provide a precision torque verification service to the resource industry of Northwestern Australia. Through the provison of this service, we are establishing a clear employment pathway for Indigenous people into local industries. This is facilitated through comprehensive training, mentorship, and the attainment of formal qualifications, including site inductions.
Our Mission
We aim to increase the overall safety of sites, assets and facilities operating in the Northwest by ensuring that only accurately calibrated torque tools are used on process safety-related plants, process lines and equipment.
Why ‘Migarda’?
Migarda is the Malgana word for the thorny devil.
The Malgana people are the traditional owners of Gutharraguda (Denham/Shark Bay). The Migarda has evolved over time to absorb water through its scales and draw moisture towards its mouth via capillary transfer. Migarda Calibration recognises the link between this evolutionary feat and our own commitment to providing precision and efficiency in operation.
